Larry Hochman

Larry Hochman spent 26 years as a high school counselor and director at a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in Connecticut. As a side career, he also trained and coached in marketing, leadership development and professional excellence. Unlike many counselors, he always viewed the military as a strong option for his students and had consistently high numbers of students enter all branches of the military.

After retiring, he established Better Military Recruiting. He used his experience and skills to help recruiters establish strong working relationships in schools, facilitate extremely high percentages of ASVAB takers, and helped recruiting offices “make mission.”

It is Larry Hochman’s mission to help military branches become full partners in the school community, and to establish a culture in which recruiters are welcome as a vital education partner, and a sought after post high school career option.
